What classes are needed to major in accounting at community college?

I hear accounting is a high-demand, long lasting, well-paying career and my mother seems rather adament about me majoring in it, though I don't know how I feel about it considering math is my weak area and I was wondering exactly what classes would be needed if I were to major in it. Would calculus be involved? Intermediate algebra? Give me your honest answer.
